Proximity to the coral reef

The boat provides easy access to shallow coral lagoon areas ideal for snorkelling activities.  Our Great Barrier Reef locations are teeming with brightly coloured fish and coral.

Reef Experience has two snorkelling platforms on each side of the vessel.  There are stairs that make it easy to get in and out of the water.

Marine Biology Guided Snorkel Tour

On the journey to the Great Barrier Reef, the onboard Marine Biologist gives an informative presentation for everyone who wishes to learn about the things you may encounter at the reef.

At the reef, you then have the option to go on an interactive snorkel tour with our knowledgeable Marine Biologist and learn about the things you see – as you see them!

The Marine Biology Snorkel Tour is an optional extra, we highly recommend them to learn more about the reef.
