The tour didn’t start on time, not a big deal. Breakfast was fruit and a miniature roll with egg and bacon. Decent. Lunch was either a very spicy chicken or a cold steak. Sausage and salad was offered. No free drinks. The crew was friendly overall. The problem was the staff in charge of diving. The instructors couldn’t be more unfriendly and impatient. Everything was rushed, as the intro dive is included within the tour price. I really wanted to dive. However, once I got into the gear it was very hard for me to stay down for a long time. The instructor kept pushing me down and scolding me because I was going back to the surface. I panicked, yes. It was my first time!!!!! I decided to drop it. Instead of trying to work with me, the instructor asked the crew to take me out so he could continue. I Stayed at the boat. My husband actually went down with him. He panicked all the time and didn’t enjoy it at all. He asked to be pulled up, and the instructor ignored him. Terrible experience. We went snorkeling after and he said it was SO much more enjoyable than diving. Very disappointed. Do not offer intro dives if your staff is not able to manage stress.

The trip was worth every penny! Also Nelson and the guy with Semi Mohawk (forgot to ask his name) did a phenomenal job.!!! I felt like I was in heaven when I was experiencing the reef. Also the best thing about reef experience team is that they make sure you not only see it but also actually experience the reef!! Totally worth it!!! Don’t worry if you don’t know how to swim or if you’re not confident in the water they make sure everyone gets to experience the reef!!! Thanks a lot to Nelson and the guy with the Mohawk and the entire team!! I am definitely gonna come back again! PS: I was living and enjoying those moments so much that I forgot to ask my scuba diving instructors name ie. the guy with the Mohawk! Thanks guys! Will come back again!

I had a great time with reef experience. All the staff are friendly and looked after everyone well. Informative marine biology presentation gave us an idea of what wildlife we would see on the day and how we could look after the reef while snorkelling. I had a great time going scuba diving for the first time, ended up doing two dives in a day. The diving instructors were thorough and kept us safe while getting up close to the reef. Plenty of time on the reef to go snorkelling as well. We went in February on a rainy day, but still really enjoyable. If you happen to be lucky with a clear day sure it would make for a great day out. The team catered to everyone’s swimming abilities, even non-confident swimmers were able to get out and have a snorkel. Good value and lots of different activities to choose to do on the day. On-board photographer took nice pictures of our group as well! Thanks for a great time!

We booked directly in your travel agency and were advised by a very friendly lady. We decided on the day trip with All inclusive (scuba diving for beginners and snorkeling) on February 16. It was such a nice day! the snorkel and dive sites are really great, there are lots of great fish to see. (Nemos, turtle, reef shark (it was so great to see him - he was so peaceful and small), puffer fish, rays and many other colorful fish. The food was good. The crew was fantastic! Very nice and cheerful. My girlfriend had a little panic when I first tried diving - but she was wonderfully looked after by our diving instructor, he was always by her side and that calmed her down very much. You can only recommend this tour! It was so great! We will definitely recommend you. Thank you for this unforgettable day! Greetings Michelle and Patrick.

We had an amazing day. The crew were so friendly and fun and the reef did not disappoint either. breakfast, lunch and a few cold ones on the way back. I would highly recommend Reef Experience Cairns.

Amazing time out on the reef, the staff are all very friendly and fun to have as tour guides. The free scuba dive included is one of the best things I’ve ever done, and I jumped at the chance to go for another scuba dive at the second location. Also, the spots we went to were great for both snorkelling and scuba diving. 100% going with reef experience again when we come back to cairns. Cheers guys!

I had a great experience with Reef Experience when I did the scuba dive in November 2019. What a wonderful place to dive! The crew was lovely and supportive once I had a little bit of seasick. The food was delicious and the vessel was very comfortable. I really recommend Reef Experience.

I went on a snorkeling and scuba diving trip with this team yesterday and it was a great experience. There was a marine biology session while we were heading out to the reef which was great but the scuba diving was definitely the highlight, even as a first timer the instructors were super helpful and would guide you along the whole dive. Would recommend.

Great experience. Friendly staff (mix of American and Australian) that are humorous and make you feel welcome and warm to join them. Snorkeling and dive experience was very memorable. Price was good relative to all the other multiple companies I compared with in terms of quality, reviews, and the actual experience being offered. The price in general across all the companies in the area appear a little high, though this company offers the best value for the money.

Reef Experince was great! We paid for the top deck VIP experience and were not let down. We were assigned our personal staff member Ziggy who was amazing and very knowledgeable. He took us on personal dive and snorkel adventures seeing a lot of different wildlife. While on the boat Ziggy catered to every need and gave personal instructions. We were served a sit down cooked breakfast, lunch and fruit/cheese platters in between. Throughout the day there was an assortment of tea coffee and soft drinks followed by our own bottle of sparkling wine on the way home. I could not recommend enough, all the staff made me feel welcome and helped me gain confidence in the water and using the gear. Unfortunately like every experience to the reef the boats can't stop rude tourists. This would be the only thing I would say could alter your experince, so treat people with respect. We had a blast, thanks Reef Experience team!

I and my friend visited the Great Barrier Reef through this tour. I do not know how to swim at all and my past experience with snorkeling has not been great at all (in Mexico) so I was very nervous. The crew is extremely helpful and everyone knows everything. They won't pass you on to someone else if you have any questions or concerns. Amy, one of the crew members, understood that I cannot swim and she did not try to belittle me by saying that there was nothing to be afraid of in the water. She helped me through the process and ensured that I have the best snorkeling experience like others do. She held on to the tube and helped me from the point I put my foot into the water until the point I was safely back on the ship. Amy is strong and amazing. I won't ever forget her. The ocean does get rough during the return trip but it is an ocean - what can we expect? This was one of the best experiences I have ever had and I would strongly recommend going to them. They are really kind and helpful.

Amazing! Such a solid crew who were knowledgeable, professional, and fun to be around. Breakfast and lunch was good, and they also have cheese, crackers, and wine on the way back. The first dive (included in price) was such a great experience that we decided to do another dive at the second spot ($65each), which was even better! The instructor brought us deeper and through really cool places. I researched tons before choosing them and am so thankful I chose Reef Experience. I would 100% recommend to everyone!
