Kuranda Train and Skyrail

A great way to experience Kuranda is to combine the world-famous Skyrail Rainforest Cableway with the Scenic Train journey.

First, take the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Giving you an incredible birds-eye view of the rainforest. Fly silently only a few metres above the rainforest canopy. Get a breathtaking view of the mighty Barron Falls.

Spend some time exploring Kuranda in your spare time. With so many markets, dining options, and Australian wildlife to discover!

When you return to Cairns by Scenic Train, you will learn about the history of the Tropical North.

Itinerary

  • Your tour starts with a pick up from right outside your hotel.
  • Then, it’s off to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway to glide above the Rainforest
  • After the Skyrail, you arrive in the rainforest village of Kuranda.
  • Here you’ll have free time to explore the region further.
  • Visit the historic Kuranda markets, the Butterfly Sanctuary or Koala Gardens, all at your own pace.
  • Then return over the rainforest your journey on the Kuranda Scenic Rail begins.
  • At the Cairns Railway Station, you will meet your air-conditioned driver coach, which will take you back to your hotel.

Queensland, Australia has some of the strictest scuba diving rules in the world  but also the safest scuba diving record. We are regulated by the Queensland Government Code of Practice and comply with all rules including medical as is the law.

To avoid disappointment on your day of travel we strongly recommend that all of our passengers complete our dive medical questionnaire prior to booking as some medical conditions, age and / or medications may prevent you from scuba diving.   It is always our mission to provide our passengers with the very best Great Barrier Reef experience.

Flying after Scuba Diving

For a single no decompression scuba dive, you should not fly or go to altitude for at least 18 hours after a scuba dive.  For multiple dives you should not fly for 24 hours after your last dive. If Skydiving or Hot Air Ballooning you must wait 24 hours after your dive. We recommend waiting a minimum 24 hours whenever possible

Cape Tribulation and Daintree

Cape Tribulation and Daintree Rainforest tour includes guided walks, lunch, and guaranteed wildlife spotting.

Enjoy  one of the most scenic coastal drives in Australia. Travel up the Captain Cook Highway  to Port Douglas, before arriving at the oldest rainforest in the World the Daintree Rainforest.
